Research
Making care management research more accessible
Many leading scholarly journals sit behind paywalls, which limits access for the very practitioners who need evidence most. The Institute of Care Management (ICM) is committed to open, practical scholarship that improves services on the ground. Our new, peer-reviewed outlet, the Journal of Care Management (JCM), will prioritise studies and insights that translate into better decisions in aged care, disability and broader health services. We welcome theory, provided authors clearly address real-world implications for leadership, workforce, quality, safety and consumer experience.
An open access journal
The Journal of Care Management will operate as an open access, double-blind peer-reviewed journal. Submission guidelines, editorial board details and our first Call for Papers will be published here shortly. Our goal is to make high-quality research freely available to managers, clinicians, policymakers and educators so they can apply findings without barriers.
